Utah Radio: "Rain makes corn, corn makes whisky, whisky makes my baby feel a little frisky"

Really, it was the only thing on the radio in Emery County, Utah, a few days ago when it was 104 degrees outside and all we wanted was a little cool weather. We tried to find it high in the Henry Mountains here...

... but we decided camping at 9,000 feet in the Henrys wasn't camping high enough for grilling steaks with a cool June breeze blowing over our shoulders. So, on the way to cooler climes atop Grand Mesa in Colorado, this damn Luke Bryan song came on the only radio station available somewhere south of Green River, Utah, and somehow it seemed apropos in the comedy of errors that was a four-day trip through Mormon Country.

The trip started out cool enough, though, as we crossed the Uinta Mountains south of Evanston, Wyoming, where above Provo Falls there was still enough snow for skiing.
